Wet-Side Tanker

     This tender is built on a Freightliner M2-106 chassis powered by a Cummins ISL 350hp engine and Allison automatic transmission.  The tank is a United Plastic Fabricating 3000 gallon Wet-Side tank.  The tank is equipped with a rear Newton electrically operated dump valve with swivel chute painted to match the apparatus body.  The lower skirting body is all aluminum equipped with one (1) large compartment each side ahead of the rear wheels with a Gortite aluminum roll up door.  There are also compartments located each side above the rear tandem wheels with a side door with the passenger side compartment also equipped with a rear drop down door.  At the passenger side of the apparatus there is a Ziamatic Portable Tank System to carry a 3500-gallon Husky portable tank.  Mounted in the passenger side front compartment there is a WS Darley 2BE 13H pump.  The pump is plumbed to the tank for discharging purposes only with a tank to pump line, tank recirculation line and a 2 1/2” discharge.  There is also one (1) 1” gravity feed line direct from the tank for filling wildland fire back packs.  There are two (2) 4” Firemen’s Friend fills at the lower rear along with a 2 1/2” nursing line.  The apparatus warning system is a Whelen Super LED package.
