Custom Pumper/Tanker

     This pumper/tanker for the Silver Bay Fire Department is built on a Spartan Gladiator cab powered by a Cummins ISX12 500HP engine and Allison transmission.  The pump is a Waterous CS 1250GPM single stage pump equipped with a Waterous Aquis 2.5 foam injection system.  The pump supplied multiple crosslays and discharges along with the Task Force Tips Hurricane RC monitor at the top of the apparatus.  There is also a 6” rear suction inlet to supply water to the pump.  The water tank is a 3000-gallon United Plastics Fabricating tank with a 30-gallon foam cell.  The rear of the tank is equipped with a Newton Stainless Steel electrically operated dump valve with a Newton swivel chute and two (2) 3” Firemen’s Friend fill valves.  The body is an all extruded aluminum structure with Gortite aluminum roll up doors on the multiple body compartments.  The ground ladders are stored in a rear slide-in compartment at the right rear of the apparatus body with a rear door.  At the passenger side of the apparatus the Ziamatic electric folding tank bin is recessed into the body.  The apparatus is equipped with a Smartpower 6kw hydraulic generator to supply 120VAC power to any outlets and accessories that require it.  The apparatus is equipped with an all Whelen Super LED warning light package and 12-volt scene lighting.
