This pumper for the Hancock, MI Fire Department is built on a Freightliner
M2-106 crew cab chassis powered with a Cummins ISL 330HP engine and Allison
3000EVS transmission. The pump is a Waterous CSU 1500GPM pump equipped
with a Waterous Advantus 3E foam system and a Waterous 140-P CAFSystem. The
pump supplies multiple discharges on the apparatus including a Hannay booster reel,
1 3/4” preconnects, 2 1/2” discharges and preconnects, an LDH
discharge and a deck gun with an Akron Apollo monitor. The water tank
is an Integra Plastic Products 1000 gallon water and 25 gallon foam tank. The
apparatus body is an all extruded aluminum structure with flush mount swinging
type doors. The body compartments are equipped with multiple shelves,
slide out trays and slide out tool boards for various equipment storage
options. There is a Ziamatic Quic-Lift overhead ladder storage system
at the passenger side for the apparatus ground ladders, hard suction hose and
pike poles. The apparatus is equipped with a Smartpower HR-8 hydraulic
generator system which powers multiple electrical outlets, (2) 120-volt
Whelen LED telescoping lights and a Command Light Knight light tower. The
warning light package is an all Whelen Super LED system.
